OSHA Training

30 Hour OSHA Construction Training

The Occupational Safety and Health act of 1970 made employers responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for their employees. One of the best ways to assure workplace safety is OSHA training that educates workers on health and safety awareness to reduce the risk of jobsite hazards.

Our 30 Hour OSHA Construction training program includes several topics of value to construction workers and those in construction-related work. The course provides instruction on general construction safety and health standards as well as a comprehensive review of OSHA standards, procedures, and policies. This course furnishes students with an understanding of construction safety and health principles, with an emphasis on using OSHA standards and regulations as a guideline to identify hazards. (Study guides and handbook will be provided for free)

Students will learn to create and implement a safety and health program according to OSHA’s 29 CFR 1926 standards, that identifies the significant hazards found on the worksite and addresses abatement techniques for these hazardous areas. Students will also become familiar with most construction processes, materials, and equipment.
